Fatal M.V.C. - Cypress Road, mid swamp

The Gumboro and Selbyville Fire Companies, along with DSP Trooper 2 and SCEMS Medic 102, were dispatched to a vehicle accident with rescue in the Cypress Swamp. Upon the response of Command 79, 79-15 (Will Dryden) was advised of possibly 2 patients, 1 priority 1 and 1 priority 4. On arrival he confirmed the report. Rescue79 with Deputy 79 responded and was advised to prepare for a roof removal. Rescue 88 with 88-15 was tasked to assist with the extrication. The patient was extricated from the vehicle and transported by B-79 to the designated landing zone. The situation was placed under control, releasing all Station 88 units. Station 79 units were held on scene to assist with lighting for DSP. Units operating on scene were Rescue 79, Engine 79-4, Command 79, B-79, A-79, Rescue 88, Engine 88-1, B-88, Traffic 88, Medic 102, Trooper 2, and DelDot. http://www.wboc.com/Global/story.asp?s=6105379
